A Joint Effort for Safety Innovation
Pando Moto couldn't simply adapt its existing gear for bobsleighing. So, the brand partnered with Margis to develop a new line of protective apparel specifically designed for the sport. The design process was supported by real accident scenarios, and the result was a gear constructed from high-level protective materials, including Kevlar and Balistex, which were specifically engineered to perform under conditions of high friction and low temperatures.
A Dark, Minimalist Design for Serious Athletes
The final product is a dark, minimalist design that speaks to the seriousness and danger of bobsleighing at this level. The gear was integrated into the garment structure with the aim to increase resistance to abrasion, tearing, and heat build-up, while maintaining a lightweight, minimalist silhouette.
