One of the primary goals of Ocean City Power Squadron, a unit of the
United States Power Squadrons®
(USPS) is promoting “boating safety through education”. We believe that an
educated boater is a safer boater. Our instructors who teach
public courses are certified to teach and use
modern instructional methods. We provide many educational
opportunities for the general public and our members through a variety of
courses, public seminars and marine-related guides.
All programs are designed to foster a high standard of skill in the
handling and navigation of personal water craft, small power boats,
yachts, sailing vessels, canoes and kayaks.
